Health Hubb – Where health comes together.
We’re dreamers, ready to make a difference.
|No easy way exists to find, compare and review providers||No all in one integrative solution: to make providers visible, manage their clients and have tools to do their job|
|Inability to view and manage your health data and make it accessible to providers||Can’t stand out from the crowd in current search engines. (Getting mixed in useless results)|
|No transparency or ability to share experiences.||Current methods are outdated as technology is old, inefficient and expensive.|
Feedback from a customer:
With more prepared for our pitch.
Health Hubb is an online platform that connects clients to healthcare, fitness and wellness providers. Our mission is to establish a centralised platform for people to manage their health, which includes their health data and relationships with providers.
We aim to solve the inability to properly understand your health and manage it.
Our market size is ~120BN growing 3.4% YoY.
Whilst our whole team enjoys health and fitness and know many in the space, perhaps the networks Jordan and Ben are in will provide a large asset to the business. Some people in their immediate network are “influencers” in the social space. With three people summing up over 100k followers (using only one of their profiles).
Nevertheless, Alex and Sarah are extremely talented designers who manage to land work at agencies prior to finishing their respective Degree’s. Sarah has been invited to the golden key society due to her perfectionism and Alex is a class engineer who enjoys problems… in fact the bigger the better!
Jordan is talented in sales, project management and customer service. Providing one example; he’s managed to break some records at Telstra while he was working there.
We’re looking to receive~$7,500 funding which will help facilitate our growth as well as provide us with the ability to add some extra “oomf” to our platforms functionality. Though we’d like to think the ideal amount to facilitate this would be ~$10,000-$12,500. We think it’s important to highlight here that we’ve already put in our own money up to this point, showing commitment to the cause! We also banded together with most of our team prior to the program, showing that we’re sticking around for a while!
We plan to pilot in CBR by doing a soft launch this month, ironing out the kinks in processes and bugs in the platform before looking to do a hard launch, using our networks. Following our CBR pilot, we aim to in the latter part of the year, or early next year launch in Sydney (where Jordan is a resident).
We’ve already had members sign up to the platform, sales, a company registered, a trademark registered and approved as well as become a part of Entry 29’s LIFTOFF program. We’ve been finalists in another accelerator before, which we have kept in touch with. They have a program in Sydney which we’ll be applying for again in the week or two following this pitch!
Problem: We have identified an issue in the health, fitness and wellness space. There’s no easy way to find a provider that suites your specific needs and then obtain their services, nor a centralised source of truth.
Solution: We propose HealthHubb, as our solution. It will allow clients to search, find and compare different health, fitness and wellness providers whilst also facilitating that interaction.
Being that ours is a two sided marketplace:
Customers: will be able to find someone suitable to them, with enough information to allow them to make informed decisions on their provider. Then have that interaction.
Providers: Will be able to showcase themselves in a unique way to help showcase their unique skills and abilities, as well as their great service to enable them to obtain more business.
We’re aiming to pilot in CBR and would like to then target Sydney and eventually the rest of Australia. It’d also be a goal of ours to target overseas (globally), though we’d like to get our local pilot and program right first. We’re not restricted as our platform is online/software based.
Health Hubb aims to connect clients to health, fitness and wellness
providers and facilitate that interaction.
The client side problem we’re solving is lack of transparency and no
outlet for sharing of experiences, and ultimately the lack of ability to make
Provider side shows a lack of opportunities to be visible and to connect
with clients, while again making informed decisions.
Our team is well suited to tackle the problem due to our relentless
drive, our main founder has been on this project for 3+ years, we’ve come close
to winning, as well as winning several grants/programs. We’ll succeed as our
team is comprised of:
If you’re a mentor who likes to see their mentee’s work ridiculously
hard and chase results, you might be a good link. We’re looking for a mentor
who’s not afraid to give guidance and spend time with us, wants to have the
opportunity to make a large scale difference to our community, has the
time to meet with us and is genuinely interested in helping us. If you’re
interested in Health or tech, it could be a bonus but also not needed.
At Health Hubb we plan to communicate with our potential customers in a variety of ways. Obviously, being a double sided marketplace this means the messaging needs to be targeted to either the client side, or the provider side. Nevertheless, we plan to use Social Media content that we create as well as sharing others content that we believe to be relevant to our audience. We’ve partnered with some top notch providers who have also agreed to share some of their content in exchange for promoting Health Hubb.
As well as social media, we plan to engage and grow an email list, where we can boast about content only for their eyes. We want to provide extra value by creating content above and beyond our socials, that encourages both providers and clients to engage with the Health Hubb brand. To manage this email list, we have already started by using mail chimp.
As well as this, we have an encouraging feedback loop built into our product, that we think will be valuable in capturing what our consumers want, on both sides. We plan to be overly active in our space. We also want to visit our providers in person to see how we can better serve them.
Ben will also be doing a personal website discussing his health and fitness interests as well as his entrepreneurial journey.
Should either side of our marketplace try to contact us, we’ve made it easy to do so.
We also have our sticker program!
As stated earlier, Our team is well suited to tackle the problem due to our relentless drive, our main founder has been on this project for 3+ years, we’ve come close to winning, as well as winning several grants/programs. We’ll succeed as our team is comprised of:
Both Ben and Jordan have a network of Health, Fitness and Wellness providers as we’ve both been in the space for some years. In addition to this, Alex is the head of SUDO, a student society of Software Engineering student at both ANU and UC. Both networks are high value.
Notable achievements/traction/notes below:
We’re looking for anyone who is in the Health, Fitness or Wellness sector. So if you are, or you can introduce us to, someone in our sector, we’d love the opportunity to meet.
Our biggest need is more development resources. Our team developer currently works full time and studies full time which leaves little time for Health Hubb. This means our current development is predominantly outsourced. If we obtain some of the seed/grant funding, our developer has agreed to jump on Health Hubb in a full time hours equivalent capacity, which is a key asset to our growth as a brand and company. Especially given his advanced capabilities.
We also need SEO experts.
If you, or anyone you know, would be a good fit to our team at Health Hubb, or if want to get in contact for any reason you can find us on our socials or using this email: Info@HealthHubb.com.au
We have self funded to this point. We’ve put in quite a bit of our own money to date and will happily continue. Our biggest cost moving forward is development, which we’re looking to insource.
– Health Funds: Lists of providers that are affiliated with them. They will be receiving more recognition through our search as well as advertisement placement.
– Providers: Highlighting them and their business – content creation and shown on our socials and platform.
We’re providing an increase of convenience, further business, better communication and a range of features that will better their workflow.
We’ve had people range from $79-$199 –> Which was done at customer validation. Additionally, this would be a subscription based on per month.
We also have addons to further value, and provide more revenue for better functionality for both sides of our marketplace.
