We’re taking to the IACT community to crowdsource a range of helpful resources for up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

Prototyping doesn’t have to be an expensive or time-consuming exercise! Here are some resources to look into that will help you get started.

Free/cheap tools:

  • Adobe XD (if you have Adobe CC. Some ANU computers also have Adobe Illustrator; there are free UI kits as AI files out there.)
  • Design Cuts (for UI components)
  • XD Guru (for free UI kits)
  • ANU MakerSpace (Free access for ANU staff and students to 3D printers, laser cutters and other tools. In most cases, you just need to complete and induction and BYO materials)

There are many websites that provide a searchable library of free-for-commercial-use royalty-free images that you can use for marketing, communications and development purposes. Just make sure to check the license agreements to confirm the conditions of use.
