We’re recruiting! As part of the IACT student committee, you will get hands-on experience running a recognised program, develop your entrepreneurial skills, and make some great connections within the local innovation community.
InnovationACT (IACT), an initiative of ANU, is Canberra’s largest entrepreneurship program. Each year, a talented committee of students help to run IACT, and we’re currently putting together the superstar group who can assist with this year’s program.
Program Officers (2-3 roles available)
We are seeking committee members to support the implementation of the IACT18 program and to engage directly with participants and other program stakeholders throughout the program. This role would best suit students who have a demonstrated interest in innovation and entrepreneurship, and are interested in further developing their skills in this space and building networks within the local startup community.
Communications Officers (1-2 roles available)
We are seeking committee members to assist with the marketing and communications aspects of the program, including writing articles, blog posts and press releases about the program, assisting in managing IACT social media channels and coordinating marketing campaigns around promotion of the IACT program. This role would best suit students who have a demonstrated interest in marketing, communications and/or PR and are interested in developing their skills in this space.
Design Officer (1 role available)
We are seeking a committee member to assist with the development of print and digital collateral for the program, including posters, flyers and social media imagery, in line with the IACT brand. This role would best suit students who have a demonstrated interest in graphic design and are proficient in Adobe CS6-CC.

Note: These are not paid positions – you will be volunteering your own time. Hours on the committee may count as part of various tertiary internship programs – check with your Course Convenor.
